Since 2021, Hardwood Honey has distributed over 300 nucs across Central Indiana and the Midwest. The nucs and queens do not ship. Hoosiers from all walks of life have shown an interest in beekeeping with a purchase of a nuc.

Since 2023, Corteva Agriscience has partnered with Hardwood Honey for honey bee research.
